provisions for disabled adult in will
If a parent is legally responsible for their disabled child for the child's entire life, beyond the age of 18, then is the parent required to make provisions for support for that child in their will? Father has died and left almost nothing for this child, who is a disabled adult and cannot provide for himself. Would Father's wife now be legally responsible for this child? Thanks.

It would depend on how the obligation arose--was it part of a settlement agreement? If so, look to the settlement agreement. Otherwise, now that the child is an adult, he may have to apply for state and federal aid.
