Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

A question about a Triple Net Lease...in regards to the interior AND exterior (faded) paint that was never painted for nine years of a commercial building where the lease states "Lessee shall, at Lessee's sole cost and expense and at all times, keep the Premises and every part thereof in good order, CONDITION and repair. "

The Lessee is going to Terminate the Lease in a few months and I want to give notice of their obligations before they leave, so I will not have to incur any costs unnecessarily that they were obligated to during the nine years there were leasing.

First of all, and please do not think that I am picking on you, but you have posted in the probate category. That means your post has gone to attorneys that handle probate of wills, and estate planning documents like trusts, after a person dies. I suggest you repost in the category for real estate law.

Second, you really need to have the entire lease reviewed by an attorney. Clauses in a lease or a contract are not read in isolation, but rather in conjunction with other clauses in the document as a whole.
