Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Im ready to file a complaint against my attorney. On the complaint form they ask questions that i don't know how to answer. Ive been requesting my file since November of last yr. I don't have my file so i cant answer any questions pertaining to my file. What do i do?

You are entitled to your file. The file belongs to you, even if, perhaps, you haven't paid the attorney! You might complain to the State Bar because of this. I don't know what the complaint form asks, so you should simply do the best you can and if the Bar investigators need more information, I'm sure they'll contact. Good luck!
I assume that you are referring to the complaint form for the State Bar. That form is not hard to fill out. The information that may not be available to you would be in item number 8, which may involve a lawsuit that you do not have any information since your attorney is failing to communicate with you. If that is indeed the problem, send me a private e-mail and I may be able to assist you.
