Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Real Estate owned by Trust

I am a Trustee of my Father's estate. I have the original deeds of properties that are in the trust's name. My stepmother claims to have un-recorded deeds that she says would cloud title and make it very difficult to sell off property to satisfy Inheritance taxes..is this correct?

Don't know. Would have to see the deeds, etc.

The estate must be very large if inheritance taxes are an issue. Hire a lawyer to assist you. The fees will be paid from the estate.
