Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Can I get reimbursted for shipping costs, I am the beneficiary and I had a chair shipped out of state to where I live. My brother is trustee of my parents estate. Can I get also reimbursted for hotel and car rental.

If the trust document gave you the chair as a specific gift, then the trustee probably should have paid for the shipping. If it did not - if you got the chair as part of the informal division of personal possessions that most families undertake, then the shipping costs are on you.

As far as hoteal and car rental expenses - if you are not the trustee and the expenses were directly related to your duties as trustee, then you don't get reimbursed unless the trust document says so.
