Requirements

What are the requirements for preparing a will in the state of California? And are the nuncapatative wills allowed also in the state of California, if so what are the requirements?

Re: Requirements for California will

The will, among other things, requires the willmaker's signing to be witnessed by at least two people, or that the will be entirely in the willmaker's handwriting. After dealing with the results of do-it-yourself wills, I would highly recommend that an attorney prepare it, or at least use the California statutory will form available for a small charge from the California State Bar (offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco).

I am not familiar with the term "nuncapatative will."
