Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Revocable living Trust Trustee

The trust is on going to provide for a mentally challenged adult. Is the trustee or attorney legally required to provide a detailed statment to the beneficiaries? Does the son's father have any legal avenues to help his son get this information?

Thank you

Yes, trustee is legally required to provide an annual accounting to the beneficiaries.

Father could try to ask for this information on the son's behalf. Is the mentally challenged adult capable of undertanding and executing a power of attorney. If not, the father may need to obtain a limited conservatorship.
