Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Do Revocable Living Trusts Need to be reviewed??

My father and mother created a revocable living

trust in 1992 and my father died in 1993. My

mother gets phone calls from attorneys that

write living trusts stating that she should

let them "review" the current living trust or

write a new one since a few years have passed

since the creation of this one. Do living trusts

need to be reviewed or modified if no change

in the property or assets of the person have

occured??

Re: Do Revocable Living Trusts

Reviewing it is not a bad idea but unless something has changed, mainly the way you want the property distributed after the second spouse dies, there is no real reason to review it. the trust is still valid and changes are not required or needed unless the trustee wants something specific changed.
