Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
revocable trust
my father just passed away 3 weeks ago. my sister tells me she is the successer trustee, but is refusing to share the content of the trust with me. Is there a legal way I can force her to do so?

Re: revocable trust
Yes, if your father lived in California and the trust was established here. Under California law a trustee is required to provide a copy of the trust to all of the beneficiaries when it becomes "irrevocable" (for example, because the person who created it passed away).
If she refuses to provide a copy, you can file a petition to compel production of the trust and to compel an "accounting" (a listing of the income, expenses, assets and liabilities).
I would be happy to assist.

She is required to do so, if she fails to do so you can bring a court action for her violation.
