Rights of Executor

As executor of my Mom's estate, can

I stop my brother in law from trying

to usurp the power of the executor.

My fear is that he and my sister will

move into Mom's house without

regard for what I think should be

done with the house. And is there a

legal way to stop him from

interfering in my family's affairs?

What can I do legally to stop this

from happening?
