What are the rights, as to information and disposal of assets, of an equal beneficiary of a parent's trust in which the other equal beneficiary is named the "trustee"?

That question is a little broad. There are numerous probate code provisions and case law that answer your ques tion. More importantly the answer is greatly impacted by the trust instrument itself. You need to be more specific.
In general. you are entitled to information, and the trustee acts in a fiduciary capccity. Any smart trustee will discuss disposition of significant assets with the beneficairies.
