What is the role of the Executor of a Will when they are not the Trustee of a Trust by the same person.

If the person who died had any possessions that were not properly transferred to the trust, then those possessions would be handled according to the terms of the will, and the Executor of the Will would be responsible to administer that portion of the estate.
