Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I am seventeen and my father and step mother have both died. Do i inherit the money or does it go to their parents instead?

It depends on whether one or both of them had wills (or living trusts) and who died first.

Even if your father and step mother did not have a wills or trusts, you would inherit from your father by statutory succession if he survived your step mother and left an estate to pass on to you.
