If I sign and date an amendment to my trust, does it need to be witnessed or notorized?

Usually your trust will specify how a trust amendment must be made. It's a good idea to have the amendment notarized. It is useful to have an attorney prepare the amendment. If the amendment changes an existing section, it is important for the amendment to be clear and specific about what portion of the Trust is being deleted or replaced.
