Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Sister is tring to take it all.

What are my rights in my mothers estate. I know that their is a will but I'm not sure were it is. My sister had my Mother put all the Invstmnt accounts Share and bank account in her name to she couldn't touch tham untill Mom died. thier is also a home but I'm not sure about it . When my Mom died last week all I was told Mom died.I have all the papers on my mom's acc. Bal. as of the end of 2000 but I did some checking and found thay are still thier. Can you help me find the will and my rights. Lets face it I think I need help.

If your mother died with a will and her assets exceed $100,000 the estate will be probated. A petition for probate must be filed with the court.

If the estate is under $100,000 a more simple procedure is available.
