Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Me and my sister are 50/50 trustors in my deeased mothers estate, which is a trust in her name There are several realestate properties in it. Some of them are solely my sisters although they are still titled in the trusts name, and I wish to have them removed from the trust so I have no liability in them, but she refuses to do so. Advise?

You have to first look at the particulars of the document that created the trust to determine the powers of the trustees. You need to find a lawyer familiar with trusts and estates that can analyze that document.
The best solution is have a law office communicate with your sister regarding the complete settlement of the trust. Sometimes, its hard to deal with siblings, especially when feelings come in the way, so having an attorney represent you may give you better results because reasoning, logic and persuasion are the tools used by attorneys. Call my office if you need someone to communicate with your sister about removing the real estate from the trust estate and closing out the trust.
