Special Needs Trust/Student Loan

If you are the beneficiary of a Special Needs Trust, receiving medical and SSI, can the trustee pay for student loans from the trust. I know that education is included, but what about past education. Also, can taxis to doctor's appointments be paid?

It depends on the terms of the trust as far as the special needs and how broad the trustees powers are. Same goes for the taxis.
