Does the State of California recognize other states' wills, and if so which states?

Do you mean that the testator had made a will elsewhere but resided in CA before death? If so, unless the will specifies otherwise, the will should be construed according to CA law. You might repost your question with more specificity.

A will, executed in any other state or country, which is valid in the state or country will be recognized by a court in California.
