Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I don't know if I am stated as a beneficiary in the Will for my father, however I do know that my name is/was listed to inherit stocks and that a Certificate of Deposit is/was also in my name and in my father's name. My question is: do I have a right to receive a copy of my father's Will 'before' he passes away? And do I also have a right to ask for a 'specific accounting' regarding these stocks and CD? I have knowledge of possible mishandling of my father's estate/assets by his POA. Thank you.

You have no right to see the will until he passes away. If you think someone who holds a POA is abusing it, contact the DA's elder abuse unit and ask them to investigate.
