Step parent dies in another state from his estate with no will. He has no living children Wife had passed 15 years prior with no will. She has 6 living children Whose entitled to inherit from this.

It’s determined by the state in which stepfather resided when he died, except real estate which usually is determined by the state in which the property sits. In any case, however, her children who are not his children get nothing.
