Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My stepmom will be deeding her joint interest in a property into my dad’s trust. On the original deed the grantees are listed as “John Doe and Sally Sue, husband and wife, as joint tenants. When completing the Grantor line on the Trust Transfer Deed, should I enter "Sally Sue, wife as joint tenant" or "Sally Sue, wife"?

The Grantor line should say exactly what the Grantee line says on the current deed: "John Doe and Sally Sue, husband and wife, as joint tenants", and the deed should be signed by both joint tenants. But your stepmother should not sign it unless the trust provides that she has a right to live in the house for the rest of her life if your father dies first.
