Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Stipulation for Temporary Guardianship??

My daughter and her husband (who is in the military) have asked me to take over the custody of their child for awhile. I agree. So, since we all agree, and they have signed the Consent for Appointment, Nomination for Appointment and Waiver of Notice, is it necessary for us to have a hearing or can the judge issue the letters and order in response to the Petition and Consent documents?

Yes, the Judge and Court must approve and have all records on file.
