Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Stolen family property from family friend.

My grandfather passed away thirteen years ago and had a girlfriend of 30 years but was never married. His then girlfriend became ill. My father was his only living child who was mariied with eight living children. The live in girlfried's nephew stepped in after my grandfather died and put his aunt in a nursing home. He then started selling everything in my grandfather's home. The nephew then paid a lawyer to rewrite my grandfathers will stating that my grandfather had no other living children only two grandsons which are my brothers. At this time my father was living and breathing, and just had triple by-pass heart surgery and was unable to stop anythig because he was to sick and ill. The lawyer who rewrote this will contacted my father and let him know that he was only doing what he wa paid to do and then faxed a copy of this fake will to my fater. My grandfather's original will was destroyed by the nephew. However the nephew and his sister took everything from my father and then sold my grandfathers home and and took all of his retirement funds and all existing bank account funds. I would like to know can charges or some type o probate case be brought against the nephew when he had no biological relationship with my grandfather.
