Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
subpoena documents
I want to subpoena documents to prove a signature is forged. I have called the probate court several times and they keep telling me they don't give legal advice. I keep telling them I just want to know a procedure on filing a form. Does anyone know how to file a form with the court so I can get the cooperation of the institution that has the signature on record? Thank you.

Re: subpoena documents
If this is post death, you have to file for letters of administration and prbate the estate. Then the lawyer can issue a subpoena. An action of some sort must be pending to issue a subpeona.
