Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
If i'm a successor on a trust and the trustee dies and lives his property to me and in the tust it states the property is to remain a rental property for at least six years does all the property taxes remain the same over those six years that he has been paying. When does it get re-appraised?

Unless the exemption for parent/child transfer applies, the property is subject to re-assessment for property tax purposes as of the date of death of the trustor.
