Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
What do you suggest I do with my Identical Twin Sisters unsigned suicide note which states she is leaving everything to me? Her vile ex-husband who abused her and their kids took it upon himself to move into her place, has started selling her things, and says he doesn't care what her wishes were, he is going to fight me to make sure I get nothing. I also have a text message in my phone and I have her phone with the sent message wherein she says she wrote a note stating she was leaving me everything. (Of course I had not gotten the message or I would have stopped her). I am devastated, my other half died and I can hardly breathe let alone deal with this vile pig. Please advise, thank you. What do i file?

You have to open probate in the county she lived, if she passed in CA.

I am sorry for your loss and I agree about seeing an attorney... They will ned to look at the holographic will issues along with potential abuse and see if there is a way to make probate and intestacy work around him
