suing an estate

the deceased was a convicted pedophile, who was ordered to pay by the convicting judge for any and all care necessary for the victim. as parent of the victim, how would i recover my expenses relating to my child's care?

Present your claim in probate. If there is no probate, you can file for letters of administration and then gain the power to discover assets and debts of the estate and the existance of a will, if any.
