Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Taking wages for my elderly parents care

My father is 97 and I have total responsibility for his finances and care.I do not live with him. He still lives in his own home with 24 hour care. There are 3 of us and his estate is about $600,000. Sibling #1 did all he could until becomming disabled, and asked me to take over. Sibling #2 has never done anything and refuses to ''put his life on hold''. But is constantly concerned about the money. I have been doing this for 7 years, besides holding a full time job and taking care of my own family. Dad's will splits the estate equally between the three of us. Can I take wages for my work for him? I travel 60 miles, twice a week and spend 4 hours taking him shopping and to appointments as well as paying all his bills, and keeping good people in his home to care for him. Can I make this retroactive for the last 7 years? Or should I just submit a bill at the time of probate?
