If you have tenancy in common in californiaa, both people have died. How do you avoid probate

It depends. Did either person have their interest held in a trust? Probate is required depending on a number of factors such as the value of property in their estate, whether the property held is real estate or other types of property.

Unless BOTH tenants in common held title in a trust, probate is unavoidable.
