Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Is there a time limit in which a trust attorney has to give to the successor trustee the settlors planning file after the settlor dies? Also what does the perpetuities clause mean in a trust document? Thanks for all of your expertise, JC

The attorney only has to give the trust documents to the successor trustee, and that only after the successor has signed a receipt. The perpetuities clause means that the trust is only binding for the duration of the lives of people named in the trust plus twenty one years. A long time no matter how you slice it.
