Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

When a trust holder asks for a change in the dispursment of his assets, how long does the trustee have to make the change? We were told a home would be left to oldest daughter and apparently after 2 years and Fathers death it was not done.

I agree. What is a "trust holder"? Do you mean the Settlor or the person who created the trust?
