Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Trust

In 1978 my husbands grandmother set up a trust for my husband and his sisters and left their father as trustee. Recently my father-in-law passed away and the trust has turned over to my husband and his sisters. What we are worried about is that my father-in-law had two other daughters. There daughters were not a part of his life at all until a few years ago, because at the time of conception thier mother only used my father-in-law as basicly a sperm donor and did not want him a part of her life or the girls life. As a matter of fact there is no father listed on thier birth certificates. My question is do these girls have any claim on the trust?
