Re: Trust Term limits & Duration

Q. How long can a trustee legally withold payment

of a trust account?. How long does it normally

take to be paid?

A. There is no set time and you must refer to the

trust document for intent and purpose of the trust.

If you believe the trustee is not honoring the

terms of the trust, you should have an attorney

examine a copy and advise you how to proceed. All

trusts must terminate at the end of those who were

alive at the time the trust was created and 21 years

thereafter.(Lives in being plus 21 yrs.)
