can a trustee with hold disbursement of a trust? The trust is complete but the trustee wants to wait a year to disburse it.

There can be legitimate reasons for delaying distribution, including perhaps tax reasons. However, you would need to meet with an attorney to really go over the specific facts of your case to know whether or not any legitimate reasons exist in this case.
