Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Trustee M.I.A.

Hi - I am the oldest of 5 children. My great Aunt Eleanor left each of us money in a trust fund to be used for education upon turning 18. 4 of us received our money timely. My youngest brother, who turned 18 in June, has not received his money. The trustee cannot be found. Since he is of age per the terms of the trust, is there some way he can track (via his SSN or something) where the money is? We live in CA - did the trustee lose any rights to the trust now that he is 18? Basically, we just want to try and figure out how he can find his money as he is ready to start college now. Any advice would be much appreciated.
