Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Trustees Criminal Background
Is it not enough to disqualify a trustee when a background check finds 3 forgery1 convictions, burglary, failures to appear, receipt of stolen property, and manufacturing/delivery of controlled
substance? These allegations are certified by the courts. But forgetting all of the other mistakes she has made (not reurning one call
to me - she lives out of state) isn't the above list enough to remove her?

It should be. Is she even bondable?

Re: Trustees Criminal Background
Each case is different, but it sounds like there are more than enough reasons here to remove this out of state trustee.
