What type of response do I file When a trustee files a petition for a settlement of account, but what they have filed does not actually equate to an accounting. It seems to be more like a complaint for damages, attorney fees and a bunch of other monetary requests?

You must file an objection to the accounting on pleading paper and serve it by mail on all the interested parties.
You should have an attorney review the petition and account to see if it fulfills the statutory requirements.
The probate examiner will be sure to point out the errors, right down to the misplaced semi colon.
I agree with Ms. Rouse. Normally the procedure is to file an objection to the accounting. Probate litigation is not something you should be doing as a self help project.
