Do a codicil meet holographic will requirements for the state of CA?

If both the Will and any codicils are entirely [including any letterhead, page 3, date, etc.] in the Will makers own handwriting, they are valid in California. If you are making your own Will, which can be easily done if your estate and the situation are not complicated, you should be sure to read some books on problems that can occur and how to form a trust so that the bulk of your estate will pass without need for probate.
