Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

The Viewing of Wills

I am 24 years old, and my grandmother died about 8 years ago in southern California. I have heard rumors that my grandmother left me money in her will, but it was spent by my parents. Because I was a minor, would they have been given that kind of power over anything I may have inherited? How can I view the Will now to see for myself? Is it public domain at this point? I don't talk to many members of my family, would I have to find out who her lawyer was? Can I send for a copy somewhere? I'd really appreciate any information you can give that may help me. This matter is causing lots of stress.

Re: The Viewing of Wills

A will is open to public scrutiny. Sounds like the executor of the will did not inform you that you were a beneficiary.
