Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My wedding ring was stored at my grandmothers house while I was out of the country. She died and the executor, my uncle, gave my ring away, He claimed it was the ring was just on loan for my wedding day , a claim that was so shocking since he was the photographer at my wedding. I do not original receipts since it was a family heirloom from 35 years ago. Will witnesses be enough evidence and do I have right to sue for punitive damages

If your grandmother really gave you the wedding ring, why wasn't it on your finger when she died, rather than at your grandmother's house? I doubt that your story will fly.
