will

once you appoint yourself adminstrator of a will, do you have to file the will and put it on record? and it is legal to leave one child everything if you have 3 children? how do you find out if you were left out of the will?

First of all, you do not appoint yourself to be administrator of a will, you petition the court to appoint you.

Next, the will must be lodged (filed) with the Superior Court in which the person resided at the time of death.

Finally, yes, someone can disinherit some of his or her children and leave everything to one, or none, of their children.
