Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

will

My two aunts who passed away had land in northern california. in both of their wills it stated that each of thier nephews and niece (7 kids in total) would get about 10 acres each. My dad and uncle want to keep the land, but my other four uncles and aunt want to sell the land. My uncle who was executor of one of the wills said that it would be to expensive to divide the land for each person, so he wants to sell it all. Do my dad and uncle have a say, if they do not want to sell their portion of the land?

Re: will

If the propertyis in probate, any dispute over the issues will be decided in the probate court. Without reviewing the wills in question one cannot offer an opinion on your question.
