Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Our will was drawned up in Massachusetts. We are now residence of California. My question is; is; if death occured would our will be valid?

It may depend on whether the will specifies that Mass. law will be applied. If not California law may cause some changes in the effects of specific provisions. Basically, the will is valid so long as it does not conflict with Californai law.

Mr. Goff is right that it is valid to the extent it does not conflict with California law, but it is that "to the extent" that is the devil in the details. Because you cannot know if your will conflicts without consulting a California estate planning attorney anyway, you may as well just get an updated will.
