It should be if you're now living in California. But you should consult with an attorney to review the document to make sure that there aren't issues regarding community property or succession that might differ.

Yes, the will is valid, but it may not be suitable for use in California if you now live here and have assets here, especially real property. It is always a good idea to update your will when you change state of residence.
