Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

No Will yet

I have Been taking care of my mother for 14 years. My father is still living. No will yet, but my sisters are trying talk our father in to stuf.They Have not come to help our parents in sixteen years! They dont talk to mom and ask her what she wants. I have been working part time so I could take care of them. How my sisters are trying to say that they want all my Dad's and Mom's property,That I get nothing because I live with them! My Mom is blind, in a wheel chair, my Dad cant read , cant hear will, cant drive and very stubborn! They are Both 71 years old. What can I do to protect them and myself!

Your parents should start with "no". If you think they are not capable of defending themselves, you may need to consider a conservatorship. Such a move will offer protection against asset transfers and creating secret wills or trust.

your parents should consult a qualified attorney to prepare an estate plan. if they are not capable of protecting themselves you should consider filing a petition for conservatorships of their persons and estates.
