What would a will & testament have to entail in order to be considered legal?

It has to be executed with statutory formalities. The law varies slightly State to State with respect to holographic wills. The key is a will is not self executing. It has to be proved to be valid by its proponent in a Probate proceeding. Read my book, "Create Your Legacy & Save the American Middle Class".
