Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

No Will/Beneficiaries

Relative deceased recently with zero will. Sister of relative is listed on financial accounts. Deceased relative had one daughter to decease prior to his death. Relative has one son+one daughter immediate survivors. Two grandsons+grandchildren are next family tree survivors.

Questions: Are the two grandsons entitled to the deceased mother share of financial benefits?

Will the Death Certificate(s) resolve all outstanding debts?

(mainly credit cards)

Should sister of deceased seek a local Attorney or financial planner for advice.

Zero real estate property involved.

Thank you for your help. Your response will be appreciated.
