Where is the original copy of the decedent's will held? Does the executor hold onto the original and give a copy to the court clerk's office?

Re: wills
Whoever is in possession of the original will is required, within 30 days of the death, to file the original for safekeeping with the clerk of court in the decedent's estate must be administered, and also to mail a copy to the executor named in the will. A copy should also be attached to the Petition for Probate, if any.
