Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

do i have the right to see will/trust?

My father's trust went to my

stepmother upon his death and she

tells me I and my brothers and

stepsisters are named and will find

out upon her death what it says She

refuses to show me the document

now or tell me any specifics. Do I

have a right to see the trust and

know what my father's wishes are?

What! An evil stepmother? Yes, you probably have the right to a copy of the trust- as beneficiaries of the trust or heirs of your father, you have the right to see the trust when any part of it becomes irrevocable. Make a demand for a copy of the trust (in writing).
