Is $2,000.00 a fair settlement for a 3 percent permanent disability for an orif wrist injury?

No if it includes future medical treatment such as future surgery and etc.. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
No that is not a fair settlement. Your permanent disability rating is too low. There are avenues that can be pursued to obtain a much more favorable settlement. I have an office in Riverside and would be happy to discuss your situation with you for free. 951-680-1182
NO! 3% = $690. That is only for the permanent limits on this wrist for life.
So this tells me the Adjuster is offering you only $1,300 to resolve all possibility of
(1) 'New & Further Disability (if it gets worse you cannot reopen, you're stuck)
(2) Future Medical Treatment (if it swells up or starts clicking, you pay out of pocket )
(3) a QME Opinion finding 13% on this same wrist.
Tell them you want $6,000 to resolve all possible rights... they'll probably come back with $2,500. Don't go below $4,500...AND THAT'S ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE WRIST WILL LET YOU KEEP WORKING AND YOU KNOW YOU'LL ALWAYS HAVE ACCESS TO DOCTORS if it gets worse.
If you use your wrist over and over and will be out of work if it swells or stops working, DON'T SETTLE OUT YOUR RIGHTS to reopen for New & further disability... you have up to five years after the injury to reopen for additional disability if it gets a lot worse.
